We are delighted to announce that we have just been verbally informed that our application for a DEFRA an EC Agricultural and Rural development grant has been successful. We believe the offer will be around £170,000.

However, the hard work is just beginning as we still need a further £300,000 for the buildings and £125,000 for the grounds and landscaping.

We’d like to appeal for anyone who has knowledge of further grant sources or has experience in raising funds to help us to ensure that this significant heritage asset is fully restored and brought back into use for the benefit of the whole community. please either in box us or contact either Toby or Alexis at The Red Cow. Thank you.

We have recently developed a small area in the bar for the purchase of sweets  - you’ll find old favourites such as mint humbugs and sherbet lemons as well as chocolate bars and gum. There are also stamps for sale behind the bar. We will be introducing bread, milk, cash back and some gifts and cards over time.
