The pleasure of planning menus, locally sourcing ingredients, preparing, cooking and sharing seasonal, flavoursome food with our visitors beats at the very heart of The Red Cow.

Whether it’s simple bar food, such as a sandwich, a bowl of soup or a burger and fries or a varied a la carte menu for the broadest range of palettes, our Head Chef prides himself that all our dishes are made to order from fresh ingredients which means our dishes can be adapted to your personal taste and portion size.

With 30 seats in the restaurant and 20 in the bar, expect an emphasis on originality and attention to detail in each dish. Altogether, the feel good eating experience.

Every Wednesday is Steak Night!

With a choice of sauces, chips, onion rings and salad, accompanied by a glass of house wine, or a pint for a bovine bargain £18.00.

The day beef-ore Friday is Pie Day!

Every Thursday dinner enjoy a delicious home made pie, mash and gravy with a pint or glass of wine for £12.
