The pleasure of planning menus, locally sourcing ingredients, preparing, cooking and sharing seasonal, flavoursome food with our visitors beats at the very heart of The Red Cow.

Whether it’s simple bar food, such as a sandwich, a bowl of soup or a burger and fries or a varied a la carte menu for the broadest range of palettes, our Head Chef prides himself that all our dishes are made to order from fresh ingredients which means our dishes can be adapted to your personal taste and portion size.

With 30 seats in the restaurant and 20 in the bar, expect an emphasis on originality and attention to detail in each dish. Altogether, the feel good eating experience.

We popped in whilst passing expecting reasonable grub but we found a gem. Will we go back? Oh yes. In fact we have booked a table for next weekend to try the a la carte menu. Brilliant

I want to thank you for a delicious meal on Friday 16th of November; we were a party of 4 and we thoroughly enjoyed the Game menu, the warm ambience and a lovely bottle of red! It was a great evening, thank you!
