covid measures - new CUSTomer guidance 

Please be patient with us as we all learn to operate within the bounds of the government guidelines. If we are slower or our rules seem strange, we apologize, but we are trying our best to keep you and our staff as safe as possible. Please note our new guidance for your visit below in light of government advice on social distancing:
  • If you are feeling at all unwell please do not visit, we will welcome you when you are better!​
  • Customers should pre-book a table for both meals and drinks
  • We are unable to accept Tastecard or Gourmet Card bookings at this time.
  • Please use the sanitizer stations provided
  • Customers must wait to be seated if their table is inside
  • All drinks and food to be ordered and served at the table.  Please do not approach the bar unless requested
  • Dogs can only be brought to outside tables and the bar area
  • If customers leave the pub for any reason (for example to smoke) they must sanitize their hands on re-entry.
  • Customers must inform staff of any allergies or intolerance at the time of booking and/or on arrival
  • ​The full-face value of pre-purchased vouchers must be redeemed in one transaction. No change can be given
  • Outside tables can be reserved if the weather permits however, we cannot guarantee an alternative option if the weather is bad or takes a turn. Customers must be aware of this and be prepared for the whim of British weather!
  • Outside tables, all tables must leave their card behind the bar in our card safes.
  • Children should remain seated at their table & should be accompanied by an adult when using the lavatory.
  • Sunday bookings all tables must pay  a non-refundable £10 cover charge per person (excl. children).  If a person or whole table is cancelled with 24 hours notice or more, this charge will be deducted from the bill or refunded. 
  • If customers are more than 20 minutes late without notice, we reserve the right to use their table for others.
  • 48 hours in advance, a member of staff will call you to confirm the details as below:
    • Number of guests
    • Allergies
    • Request Cover charge for Sunday bookings if applicable
    • Dogs
    • Special occasion
    • Birthday party, Cake supplied by guests (Cakeage charge will apply)
    • Gift Vouchers
